If you only knew how many different configurations of this bar I've tried before I came up with this final version... this one is worth its weight in gold!

Each leg of the bar should be at least 8 inches long.
The diameter of the bar should be at least 1.5 to 2 inches. A thinner bar will not allow the pure burn during the last few reps. Furthermore, the smaller diameter bar won't allow the pleasant shift on the palm position, needed for superior burns.
The angle of each leg of the V bar should be no more than 30 degrees off a straight line. When the angle is steeper, it's much more difficult to get pure tricep action and... too much stress is placed on the wrists when the angle is flatter.
